I’m so excited to go to Spain. I know it will be very different compared to what I’m used to in Utah, but I can’t wait for the adventure. I’m most fearful of the unknowns of the trip. I still don’t know who my host family is, so I can’t really elaborate on how well things will go with them. I’m sure it will be fantastic though.
I do have some concerns about the actual Spanish language. I have taken 3 years in high school and 1.5 years in college, but I haven’t taken any classes or spoken Spanish recently. Hopefully, I can get back in the swing of things.
I’m so excited to try new things and experience Spain, but I’m a little afraid to be away from my support system. Everything in Spain will be new for me, I can’t think of any familiarity I will have there. I think I may get a little homesick, but I’m not going to let it stop me!
Overall, I’m way excited. Life’s an adventure!
